Wir, eine paar Anarchist*innen, haben in der Nacht vom 23.01.2022, die Griechische Botschaft in Wien mit Farbe angegriffen. Das Datum des 23. Jänner haben wir nicht durch Zufall ausgewählt, sondern es markiert den dritten Monatstag des brutalen Mordes, den die scheiß Bullen am 23.10.2021 in Athen an dem 18 Jahre alten Rom Nikos Sampanis begangen haben. Seinem Tod ging eine Verfolgungsjagd mit sieben Bullen voraus. Bei dieser gaben sie auf das Auto, mit dem Nikos und seine zwei Beifahrer unterwegs waren, insgesamt 38 Schüsse ab. Die drei Autoinsassen waren zwischen 16 und 18 Jahre alt und unbewaffnet.
Im Nachhinein behaupteten die Bullen, aus Notwehr gehandelt zu haben und dass sie das Auto aufgrund eines (vermeintlichen) Verbrechens verfolgt hätten.
Nach dem Mord wurden Dokumente veröffentlicht, die über die interne polizeiliche Kommunikation Einblick geben. Sie belegen, dass die beteiligten Bullen sich darüber austauschten, dass es sich bei den drei im Auto befindenden Personen um Roma handelte. Der griechische Staat hat im Nachhinein die mörderischen Bullen geschützt. Nicht verwunderlich, denn Polizei und Staat handeln stets im gemeinsamen Interesse und in der Logik der staatlich-kapitalistischen Herrschaft. Bullen, Staat und Kapitalismus töten!
Rassismus und Antiziganismus (Rassismus gegenüber Rom*nja und Sinti*zze) sind ein wesentlicher Bestandteil europäischer Staaten. Das zeigt sich in der Unsichtbarmachung von Rom*nja und Sinti*zze als Opfer des Nationalsozialismus, die Unterdrückung, Verdrängung, Benachteiligung und Ghettorisierung/ Segregation (hier gemeint: Abspaltung von der bürgerlichen Gesellschaft). Antiziganistische Haltungen kommen aus der Mitte der Gesellschaft, somit sind polizeiliche und staatliche Verfolgung und Ermordung von Rom*nja und Sinit*zze die mörderischsten Auswüchse dieser Struktur. Die Ermordung von Nikos Sampanis durch die Bullen ist kein Einzelfall. So wurde beispielsweise am 19. Juni 2021 Stanislav Tomas in Tschechien von Bullen ermordet.
Unser Angriff ist nur ein kleines Zeichen der Anteilnahme, steht aber in keinem Verhältnis des Schadens und der Zerstörung, die durch Staat, Kapital und Patriachat verursacht werden.
Unsere Trauer, Wut und Solidarität gilt den Hinterbliebenen und dem Ermordeten, aber auch allen von Rassismus und Antiziganismus betroffenen Menschen - überall!
Kein Frieden mit staatlichen und rassistischen Strukturen (in uns und um uns herum)! Für eine befreite Gesellschaft!

We, a few anarchists, attacked the Greek Embassy in Vienna with paint on the night of 23rd of January 2022. The date of 23rd of January we have not chosen randomly. It marks the day of the brutal murder committed by the fucking cops on 23rd of October 2021 three months ago in Athens on 18 year old Rom Nikos Sampanis. His death was preceded by a chase with seven cops. During this, they fired a total of 38 shots at the car in which Nikos and his two passengers were driving. The three car occupants were between 16 and 18 years old and unarmed.
Afterwards, the cops claimed to have acted in self-defense and that they had pursued the car because of a (supposed) crime.
After the murder, documents were released that provide insight into internal police communications. They show that the cops involved exchanged informations that the three people in the car were Roma. The Greek state, in retrospect, protected the murderous cops. Not surprising, since the police and the state always act in the common interest and logic of state-capitalist rules. Cops, state and capitalism kill!
Racism and antiziganism (racism against Rom*nja and Sinti*zze) are an essential part of European states. This can be seen in the invisibility of Rom*nja and Sinti*zze as victims of National Socialism, the oppression, repression, discrimination and ghettoization/segregation (here meant: segregation from bourgeois society). Antiziganist attitudes come from the center of society, thus police and state persecution and murder of Rom*nja and Sinit*zze are the most murderous outgrowths of this structure. The murder of Nikos Sampanis by the cops is not an isolated case. For example, on June 19th 2021, Stanislav Tomas was murdered by cops in the Czech Republic.
Our attack is only a small sign of sympathy, but it is out of proportion to the damage and destruction caused by the state, capital and patriarchy.
Our mourning, anger and solidarity goes to the bereaved and the murdered, but also to all people affected by racism and antiziganism - everywhere!
No peace with state and racist structures (in us and around us)! For a liberated society!
No justice! No peace!
PS: To all bourgeois self-appointed facade protectors who like to play cops: Fuck off! We hate you! Your disgusting ideology of property protection is one of the many problems we have to fight. You only motivate us even more!
